Ring illuminators based on light guides have been firmly established in the field of microscopy as well as maschine vision. The light of a cold light projector is fed into the ring light and comes out of the ring-like ordered fiber-light-guides. The arrangement of the light guides can be used as a closed ring or a multi-point finish. The light guides are ordered in a defined square to the axle of the ring light body, to direct the light coming out of each fibre towards the constructive operating point of the ring light.

The free inner diameter of the ring light body is well-fitting to many Mikroskop-tuben and camera lenses, and can be suited to smaller diameters by means of a diminishing ring. The clamping is effected by means of ball pressure pieces and clamping srew.
